Since 2023, I have been speaking at various conferences and events about the responsibility of those building products and how we (product managers, designers, engineers, etc.) can use our skills to address the most challenging issues facing our society.
Showing that you can have a great career in Product without becoming the manager you don’t want to be seems pretty important to me. I have been lucky enough to be invited several times to talk about my career choices, going back to Individual Contributor roles after a detour to management.
